AWECC has been successful in its bid to fund its 'Multicultural Seniors LINK' program for 2018-2019! The Victorian Government's Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) this week confirmed it will grant $10,000 to AWECC to fund the program through its 'Participation for CALD Seniors Grant' program. The Multicultural Seniors LINK program will be delivered in partnership with Felltimber Community Centre and local ethnic communities and will provide social and educational opportunities for isolated older people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, through monthly cultural picnics, community centre programs, and a Multicultural Seniors Expo on 9 October 2018.
