Become a Member!

AWECC welcomes membership from organisations, community groups and individuals who are committed to our vision of a harmonious, inclusive and welcoming Albury-Wodonga

Every AWECC member is important to us. Collectively, we can ensure the voices of our culturally and linguistically diverse residents are heard, and their interests and aspirations are known to government, the business sector and the wider community. Members are also kept informed of the latest news and events through our newsletters and other publications, plus you'll have the opportunity to join in our programs and advocacy initiatives, and access 'member-only' or discounted events.

AWECC has three membership types:
our members

community membership

Community organisations and groups based in the Albury-Wodonga region whose primary focus and purpose is either of an ethnic and/or multicultural nature and whose aims and activities are consistent with the purposes and values of AWECC may apply for community membership with AWECC. Community organisations must be incorporated with the appropriate state authority.
Community membership is $50.00 per year (pro rata).

our members

associate membership

An organisation or recognised group with an interest in ethnic and/or multicultural issues (but this not being their primary focus) and whose aims and activities are consistent with the purposes and values of AWECC may apply for associate membership with AWECC. Associate members may also include service organisations, institutions or employers, or ethnic community groups who are not incorporated.
Associate membership is $50.00 per year (pro rata).

individual membership

Any individual person of any ethnic background, who agrees with the purposes and values of AWECC may apply for individual membership with AWECC.
Individual membership is $10.00 per year (pro rata).
